Calm in the storm

I find myself in the middle of a storm these days. These times are never easy, but I can’t help but wonder what God will teach me while I’m here.

When I look back on my life, and find that the times where I grew most with God were the times where life was the hardest.

Often God uses these terrible times in life to teach us and grow us and to draw us closer to him. I cry out to God and talk to him much more when things are not good, then when life is wonderful and easy.

These tough times in life are bitter sweet. Suffering is never good, never our preference, but we are often the most intimate with God during these times.

My prayer for you is that if you find yourself in the middle of a storm; hang on. I pray this time would be a time of growth for you, and you would learn to call on Jesus. He often doesnt make the storm go away, but give syou peace and comfort and friendship while you are there.

You come out trusting him more then when it first began.

Blessings and love

He loves me He loves me not

he love me he loves me not

Do you believe that God loves you? Because He does. He really does. I so often struggle to believe that God, the one who created the stars, the mountains, the ocean and the sun, knows me as an individual, and loves me. How could a God so big, and wonderful love me, just one out of the billions of people on this earth? I often feel like im nothing special, like the super pastors, or the Bible characters… so can I be sure that God loves and cares for me?

I realized if I miss this truth, I miss what God is all about. God is love, and can love bigger then I understand. He took time to make you and me, and he loves us.

Here are a few things I found in the Bible that talk about just how much God really loves us. Loves you.

* God knows how many hairs are on your head

* God calls you his child.

*God knows what you are going to say even before you say it!

* There is NO WHERE you can go where God is not

He knows your name. He wants a relationship with you. He cares about you. He cares about what you go through day to day. He notices what bothers you. He cares enough to challenge you so you will grow.

I pray we won’t forget.
